Welcome to the Ancient Order of Hibernians, San Diego Division

The ANCIENT ORDER of HIBERNIANS (AOH) is an Irish Catholic fraternal organization. Members must be Catholic and Irish by either birth or descent. It was established here in the United States on May 4, 1836 in New York City. Its motto is Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity.

The AOH Commodore John Barry Division was established here in San Diego in 1977 under the guiding hand of Monsignors Patrick O'Neill and Msgr. Bill Bergin.
